Anger is pretty natural in stressful situations and when it feels as if running out of options and, if controlled for a reason, can even be an important motivator in a critical situation.

But it could be a problem if it is a resting temperament that won't go away, is out of control, invades into everyday situations, creates troubled behaviours, or damages relationships, or others.

From Rock, Heavy Metal and Hip-Hop styles and as far back as classical music such as Beethoven, musicians have given an expression to the most intense feelings in our make up. 

Music could be a way to redirect away from expressing anger in the problem ways either by a playlist for calming right down, one that works for you, to destress the mind and reconsider the trigger - something such as RnB with vocal lines that carry a meaning you respond to no matter the situation might work - or through music which matches the intensity of a feeling, but allows to focus on just the music to channel it through, but gives the mind the time to slow down and think.
